Active Transport Association is a Non-governmental Organization concerned with quality of life through the use of the Human Powered Means of Transportation in transit systems.
Our goals are:
- support, spread and promote locally, nationally and internationally the human powered means of transportion as modes for commuting and traveling, for work or leisure, as a sport and a way for improve health;
- raise awareness of the correct use and safety of non-motorized transport;
- support educative, cultural and social projects and campaigns, always aiming at the use of green transport, thus reducing motor traffic and providing more humanized cities.
